water leak 07 sti

I have searched and found nothing.
Every time I turn off my car I have noticed a puddle of water. Its coming from the front driver side in front of the tire. Even on cold days with no ac on and not using the I/C sprayer. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I have a coolant pressure tester we can test the system with.
What part of Concord are you in? I'm in Walnut creek.

Well I would check the system 1st. You only have a few things that leak. Water, Engine oil, Gear oil, Brake fluid and Clutch fluid.

The water is the 1st most times. Even more so on that side. The drivers side in front of the motor has a lot going on there. Have you checked the driver/passenger foot wells for water? Heater cores are a *****.

If it was water by the turbo area I'd say its the condensation from the a/c coming from the system.

1) true

2) I checked awile ago, I believe it was dry. I just had my engine rebuilt, it's been leaking ever since i bought it. I didn't think it was very bad, now im just wondering what the heck it is.

3) not on the turbo side

Talk with Ed about it. and if you want I have my system tester. Takes all of 3 minutes to check it out. might be just a loose clamp. The tester will find it without problem.

Have you been using your defroster? My Tribeca always had water on the ground and was told it was condensation from AC and defroster.

I had a leak once on the crossover pipe that would run water to the throttle body. The hose clamp didn't seat and caused a leak. But in the front left corner that could be, water pump, thermostat, windshield wiper res, coolant over flow, There is a big list on what could be leaking. Does the water smell? How does it feel?

The best is to let Ed take a look, I am sure he can fix you right up. Just make sure you have coolant in the system and check all your fluids before driving the car anywhere.
