Warriors straight MASSACRED the Lakers last night

I was at the game last night. good way to end the season (well, last game of my 11 game package). Warriors were up by 40 with 6 minutes left! Kobe was bricking everything. and after he did that ridiculous attempt at a backboard pass to himself (which he missed) the crowd started chanting "Kobe sux!" haha. he would rather pass to himself than his teammates. i guess they picked up on that and after that you could hella tell they didnt want to pass to him the rest of the game. haha. it was tite.

lakers are like a lot of other teams right now. One man show. The rest of that team sucks.

Good for the warriors. Nice to see them winning a bunch of games when they don't really matter and just hurt their draft ball count.

lakers are doing what I figured they'd start doing as soon as they were eliminated from the playoff chase....Take a HUGE dive. Just like San Antonio did a few years back to take a shot at Tim Duncan. The lakers want a shot at the top pick.

I'm a fan of both teams...always have been. I've split my life pretty evenly between socal and bay area. I hope the warriors hold onto the right players this time around and keep a few people together. They've got a great bench right now and a solid 3 guys that can play pretty much the whole game and hold it down if need be. Davis has been a great addition. Exactly what JRich needed. They were making him handle and pass to much. He's a scorer and a decent rebounder at the guard spot. Not a point guard.

been fun to watch the last month.

Yeah, they beat the Lakers, but they're still last place.

I was at the game as well, it was an awesome massacre. Davis had a solid night, and Kobe does suck.

I am so sick of people saying this.

One minute he's the next jordan then he sucks. Yeah he committed adultery..what NBA player short of A.C. Green. Yeah he didn't carry the lakers to the playoffs ALONE while injured much of the year and missing over 15 games. yeah he turned the ball over a lot this year and made some stupid mistakes. But that should be expected of someone playing alone a year after playing with guys like Horry, Shaq, and Fish. He was pressing to hard.

But really..who can carry a team alone to the playoffs in the west in todays game. Certainly not garnett..you gonna jump on the KJ sucks bandwagon?

But hey...he came into the league at 17. He was second in the league in scoring despite being doubled up and the focus of other teams game plans the whole year and injured. Had 5 triple doubles. But yeah he sucks.

I guess I'm one of the few that actually like Kobe. But in that game he was playing pretty selfishly (is that even a word? hahaha)

As for the Warriors, they should get rid of Rodney White and Calbert Cheaney to make room for the next draft picks. I would keep Tschidisvili (or however u spell his name) because he makes good friends with Beidrins and Zarko (indirect effects to their game) off the court.

they should KEEP the entire european mini team...

PAY whatever baron davis wants... even mullin's first born.

richardson is paid for the next few years.

murphy and mike jr stay too.

fisher as back up for davis. or to have that 3-4 guard look on the floor.

NEED A TRUE CENTER... sorry adonal...

davis PG
richardson SG
?????? C
muprhy StrongF
mike JR ShootingF

fisher, adonal or pietrus as 6th man

They did a bad thing by investing so much money in adonal. They may have to let murphy go and try to get a true PF in the draft. But center wise they have some good options.....euro style....Martynas Andriuskevicius or go with Taft. Andrew Bogut.

Lakers did get manhandled, but they'll be back.

And for the incessant Kobe-haters, he did have an off year (for him)...27 pts, 6 assists, & 6 boards. (DREAM year stats for 95%++ current AND past players)

While this was a very frustrating season for the LAKERS & fans, I believe it could prove to provide some benefits. No doubt it was an especially humbling experience for Kobe, so hopefully he takes a page from Mike's book and becomes a true leader and starts trusting his teammates more. We all know what happened after MJ learned that important lesson!

I totally agree w/the your takes on giving Adonal too much $$$, letting Murphy go, and trying to get a true PF.

I don't know much about Taft or that Euro guy, but I'm not so sure that Bogut would work out well for the Warriors. He is probably the best true center in this year's draft, but that's not saying much considering the weak draft class. Bogut has good fundamental skills and is a very good passer, but his mobility & athleticism are not that great. The Warriors have become an up-tempo/fast break team w/B-Diddy, and Bogut wouldn't fit well in that scheme.

i truly think kobe has talent.... for one on one play. yes, he has pure baller skillZ y0.

BUT, i think people are saying he sucks because, simply put, he's not a team player. like last night, he never passes to his teammates, he doesnt support them, nor does he care about them. any team needs to be cohesive to win. once the camaraderie was gone, so were the wins.
