Exclamation Warning! Storm Approaching!

Hey all,

First time it's going to rain before 10pm at UCKK... But on a serious note, tonights storm is pretty big, and will be packing a lot of rain and probably a good amount of lightning and thunder late tonight into the early morning.

I'll be showing up to UCKK at about 8:30; However i have a feeling we'll retire to the cozy warmth of Tapioca Express in Newark.

We'll see how it goes. Anyone who needs their shirts and things, i'll have the box with me.

Be safe out there: watch out for idiot drivers...

what source do u use?

this is what I saw:

Tonight: Rain likely. Low 48F. Winds SSE at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 70%. Rainfall around a quarter of an inch.

Doesn't seem like a storm, but maybe my source is off

A STRONG PACIFIC STORM WILL MOVE EAST AND APPROACH THE NORTHERN
CALIFORNIA COAST LATE THIS AFTERNOON. AS THE SYSTEM NEARS THE
COAST...PRECIPITATION WILL INCREASE OVER MUCH OF NORTHERN
CALIFORNIA. HEAVY PRECIPITATION IS POSSIBLE TONIGHT INTO
WEDNESDAY AS THE STORM SYSTEM MOVES INLAND

I think what I posted may be more specific to closer to the mountains. So the following is for the BA ("hazardous outlook")

THIS PACIFIC STORM WILL BE DELIVERING RAIN TO THE CENTRAL COAST
TODAY...BEGINNING IN THE NORTH BAY THIS MORNING AND SPREADING SOUTH
THROUGH THE DAY. TONIGHT WILL SEEE THE PEAK OF ACTIVITY...WITH
LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE. SOUTH WINDS
COULD BECOME STRONG BY TONIGHT...REACHING 15 TO 30 MPH AT TIMES...
EVEN A BIT STRONGER AT THE COAST.
