Walking Tall ?

Hey guys-

Remember in May when "The Rock" came out with Walking Tall, a story based on the life of a real man named Buford ?

I totally dug the movie and I just wanted to let you guys know, if you didnt see it, at least rent it, if you saw it get it cause there are gonna be a lot of behind the scenes stuff with the rock beating people with 4x4 pieces of wood.

Cheers
Rush

So it was good huh? I wanted to see it, but refuse to pay movie theater ticket prices for anything less epic than Lord of the Rings, and the like. If it's available for rent I may just have to check it out.

You guys should all go check out Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. That movie is badass. If you like the comedy/action with a mix of nostalgia (sp?) similar to Indiana Jones you'll probably really like it.

What's wrong with the Boxster? And please don't say it's the poor man Porsche. (Even though it is)

It's a poor man's porsche. No, I just think that they are WAY overpriced, plus I was a huge fan of many of the air cooled models and have just become bitter with the change of water cooling. I specifically dislike the Boxter because, although a decent car, it is exceptionally over priced given its performance and build quality. An S2000 looks better, is built better and performs better than a standard Boxter and nearly as well as an S model. Also, for the price of an S, roughly $53k, one han have a Z06, which will out handle, and out accelerate a Boxter S without even breathing hard. I should have said nuts to watercooled Porsches, my bad. Give me a '79 Turbo, or a 97 4S and I will love you forever.

Not to mention a Forester XT will out-accelerate a Boxster, even when hauling a crated 400 lb transmission in the back. Don't ask me how I know...

I used to deatail cars and one of my good customers had one that he let me drive even before I had my DL, so that specific model sticks in my head and brings back good memories. In all honesty any of the last gen air cooled porsches are good with me with as long as they featured the wide body (carrera 2 need not apply).
