Wagon strange handling at high speeds?

Am I the only Wagon owner to notice strange handling characteristics when going at high speeds? When I go >= 75 miles and hour on the freeway, the front end feels really light (like it floats) and the steering feels strange, almost like something it loose up front. Every thing is stock other than Whiteline Steering bushings.
Could it simply be low air pressure in my front tires? Steering fluid? My car only has 3500 miles.
Thanks!

Probably not by Subaru or Bridgstone, and not all the time, but those things roll over something awful. I used to run them at 40-45 on the street, and they did not wear poorly from it- of course, the tread on the outer edge chunked off from autox-ing and I had to throw tem out.... (elipse there...)

Mine also handles badly now, over 75 MPH, but I think it is my alignment not my tires. It used to be fine and now it handles badly (since I had a blowout and hit a curb).
Good Luck.

The stability of a car at higher speeds on a freeway depends, to a great degree on the alignment of the car. Two things will make your car more unstable and darty those being negative camber and toe out. The more negative camber you have, the more likely the car is to find runts in the road and follow them like a magnet. This is especially true here in California where we have all these grooved roads for rain runoff. Toe out also tends to make a car a little bit more difficult to control in straight lines.
Your tires and tire pressure will also play a role in the overally equation.

Well my car feels loose because i need a rotation.......maybe you need to rotate the tires? i have as much grip in the front as that guy that armorall'ed the bottom of his tires
My stock 2002 wrx wagon has no such problems
at 75+ or at any speed for that matter. My
alignment seems out of wack at times. Sometimes
the wind makes the car hard to control. But my
steering wheel is never light.
The only car that I had the problem you described
was a 1978 Mazda GLC. It was born with 52 hp
and had no power steering of any kind.
