VW's... the new a$$hats

I dunno. Maybe it's a string of coincidences. But lately it seems like people VW (jetta's mostly) are the new stereotype assfocks.

They are either:
- darting around dangerously like an a$$ (with no actual skill)
- blocking lane changes
- making lane changes without looking and almost smashing into people
- being totally unaware of other people on the road
- egomaniacs that won't let people pass them

And I'm not just talking about 20 something males. Middle age, old age, men/women, etc.

I really don't know why my personal experience has noticed mostly VW's doing this. Maybe they're trying to get as much use out of their car before it breaks down again. Maybe they're luxo euro wannabe's who can't afford to be bimmer/benzo a$$es.

Then again, people in Priuses only worry about their own economy and not the economy of all the traffic they create behind them.

I've had some issues with VW's lately as well. Weird.

Are you talking about Prius drivers that (gasp!) go the speed limit? Like 65? Where their car and nearly EVERY OTHER CAR ON THE ROAD gets its best economy.

Yeah, talk smack about people who are making the world better - good plan.

lol, i thought you meant verizon wireless for a moment!

I thought they have low ego emission. I think it depends on where you live. Around SJ/SCruz/SClara I don't have much problem with other drivers. Then again, I mostly deal with commuters traffic...

Actually most Prius drivers I run into are total a$$holes on the road. This morning there was one totally up my *** on the Dumbarton bridge and I was in the middle lane going 80mph. Last night driving home on 880N one cut me off in a lane change. I always see them speeding like their piece of $hit eco box is made for racing. In the past month I've had atleast one Prius dip $hit run in a week so as far as I'm concerned they can all die.

exactly. READ people. I can't stand when people feel like they need to be the traffic controlers

On highway 17 I'm constantly saying....read the signs people. Slower traffic stay right. People passing slower traffic is a major problem on that road in particular because of the road condition and the fact it's 2 lanes. Just move over...it's safer for everyone.

I think it's BS that slow drivers block the fast lane.

But it's equally BS to obey one law (slow traffic keep right) and ignore another one (speed limit). They may be jerk asses, but they're obeying the law and if you wanna break it, go on around them on the right.

But that's not a good reason. Making people pass on the right will put everyone in danger.

What I can't stand is when the road starts going up hill so everyone slows down. How hard is it to press the gas pedal a little harder to at least maintain the same speed.
