Some of you guys may remember me posting up about my buddy Brendan who makes Artisan Gin a few weeks ago
His Vodka just won a double gold medal and has been named one of the best in the country
The Fifty Best | Domestic Vodka

St Augustine Distillery

Brendan been one of my best friends for 20 years and I'm really proud of him.
I have bottle sitting on my counter now... it's damned good. May ruin me for all other Vodka's

but then you have to reship them to each individual unless you all live near eachother. Im down in the monterey bay, makes it a bit unfeasible.

Hmmmm...so the next question, how does it compare to all of the Russian and Polish vodkas?

And it seriously sucks you can only order it online from the distillery. I can't get it in my current or surrounding states

Direct shipping of alcohol is prohibited in the following states
Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, Virgin Islands, West Virginia

You'd actually be buying it from a Distributor called Brody's in Florida. It's illegal for distilleries to sell directly to the public.
In general you have no idea the BATF makes these folks jump through to sell a bottle of liquor.

The shipping cost is a little painful, I ordered 2 bottles of the Gin and 2 of the Vodka. Figured that $20 spread over 4 bottles wasn't so bad.
Considering you'd easily pay $50/bottle for comparable Vodka locally...
