Damn they have some nice cars! Got the see the Mystery-mobile in person. It's pretty dope. And the white forrester is pretty hot too. Re-thinking I may get one of those for a daily when my GC gets un-streetable (whenever that happens, wishful thinking). The shop is very nice. I felt really comfortable leaving my car with them as I assume the quality of their cars are a testament to their work. *sigh* I want my car back. Was quoted a really quick turn around time tho. I was blown away how fast they were going to get it done.

So I'm getting an ACT clutch and flywheel, Kartboy front and rear shifter bushings, an STI tranny mount and having a clunking noise checked out and also this stupid CEL I keep getting. I'm really stoked and seriously looking forward to picking it up tomorrow night. Also as sonic_yellow conjectured Noah recommended that I lift my car a little and the JIC's will be more forgiving on the road. I'll have to pick up a set of adjustment tools and give it a shot. Hopefully, as Noah pointed out, the dampers aren't shot. My car is quite a beater. Previous owner did some weird mods to it and it needs some TLC. Anyway, I'll give an update when I get the car back.

cheers

I got my car back last night. It freakin rocks. The new flywheel really makes that engine spin! And the ACT clutch has some serious bite going on. It feels really fast. "Feels" after all it's still a 2.5RS They also really fixed up my JIC coilovers as well. The installation tech (which obviously didn't work at LIC) really didn't follow thru on testing them out before and as result the ride was pretty horrible. It feels much better in a turn now. Planted. I can't wait for my clutch to break in tho. I'll have to be driving around quite gingerly for the next few hundred miles.

But overall I'm really impressed with their work. Probably the best experience I've had at a shop over every car I've ever owned. I saddly will have to drive 400 miles to LIC the next time I get service. But feel dissapointment is not a concern.

Thanks guys for the excellent work!

cheers

Thanks Garrett for the kind words, glad you had a good experience.

The ride height was definately all wrong, that car was slammed, I don't know how the previous owner drove it like that. Maybe if someone would have installed it correcty the first time, you wouldn't have the car

Take care and enjoy sunnier south,
