Viper Car Security Question!!
Okay, so my girlfriend has the viper car security on her corolla. The system has remote start and everything works great. The only thing that is unsatisfactory is the remote. It keeps on breaking and each remote costs about 100 bucks. Does anyone know if there's another remote that's compatible with the viper system that's more durable or does anyone have a hook up for these remotes? .. any help is greatly appreciated ...
.. oh it's a

its a 479V, 479C, or 479P remote
Python and Clifford remotes will work on it as well
They are all the same remote with different casings though.
a 472v/c/p will work also, but it doesn't have the LCD on it, they are ~ $50 and they probably won't break as easily as teh 479 remotes.

remote start is just a toy
it never gets cold enough in california to have to start your car before going out to it
maybe she should have bought the clifford alarm

the Clifford version of that alarm is the exact same thing with a cf colored remote instead of a blue remote.
ohh, and whats wrong with having a "toy" on your car?...don't we all buy toys for our cars?

actually, i have seen a layer of frost form on my windshield at night. It does get quiet cold, especially if you live next to the water. i usually warm up my car for about 2 mins before going.
