Vinyl wrap

My mom has a dark green 2000 Integra (with moonroof) and the paint on the roof is in really bad condition. Rather than repaint she just wants to get black vinyl wrap put on instead... roof only.

Can anyone recommend a local shop (east bay) who can do a good job with this or even someone who can show up on location and take care of it? Any ballpark estimates on prices would be great too.

Not her car but same color:
(I can get some pics of her roof if needed)

Savage wraps in Milpitas in you're willing to look in that direction. I think it was like 200 for mine b/c of the moon roof? Just cal em. Not sure if they can match the color.. I went for a black vinyl roof.

Whats the point of doing black roofs? Wouldnt that attract more heat to the car?

Just mentioning this because Ive seen a lot of ppl do it recently

+1 to krinkles
+1 for more heat going black. I would do a matte white top.

Labor/time, and in some cases difficulty I guess - more severe curves, more time. For basically a flat surface like that, with the exception of the sunroof, it would be about the same cost to paint vs vinyl IMO.

This car won't get much hotter with a black roof IMO, since it is dark green already.

Might need a couple other things wrapped. Mirrors or something.

Yeah, I know. It just looks cool. The "fancy" cars that have it have GLOSS black, but it is still black.

I asked Mr. Canlas to do some parts for me and he said he couldn't do them because they were too curvy SWOOPY LOL. But I've seen his work on the various EVOs, so he can definitely do it for you. I need to call him too about some tint actually...
