Thank you all for your recommendations to go to Omega Tintwerks. Vincent is a super cool dude and did one hell of a job on my tint. Plus, he rides so I was talking shop with him on spots to hit up.

$185 for all 5 windows plus the banner on the front windshield. The car looks soo much better and I'm no longer blinded. AND i can get my freak on in the back seat...I'm kidding of course.

i'm running 20 all over. 35 on the fronts. Nothing on the windshield.

I haven't gotten hassled yet *knock on wood*. I've only had it for a few days.

There's always the risk of getting caught. Just need to accept it since it's illegal. If the cops really want to get you for something they'll try to find it (i.e. tint no matter how light, front plate, exhaust, etc.)

i've got 20% all around (including fronts) done by Vincent. I actually want it a tad bit darker, like maybe 12-15%, but i think the next lowest step was 0% after 20%...

 

onemanarmy - great picture, where was it taken?

cleofis - i have 35% all around, and was pulled over by chp on 280 last year. i was going 65 the entire time, and he spotted me like sore thumb. so its very possible. just be smart about it.

vince does great work. great guy to talk to when he's working on the tints.

But he was also right about getting stopped for 20% on my fronts. I asked him to do 20% all around against his wisdom.
Anyone know if the second ticket is a harsher fine? I didnt bother taking mine off, just paid the ticket. I know front plate the second ticket is a big fine.

 

on my integra I got about 4 tickets for front tint. All were $70. This was a few years ago, som i'm not sure if the laws have changed
