1) Trail braking went wrong.
2) Lifting the gas, causing the weight of the vehicle to shift to the front tires.

i spun my wrx merging on the freeway, thank god nothing bad happened, but once all 4 wheels lose grip, you are screwed, i spun around like 7 times then knicked a curb and stopped! it was so crazy... i broke a wheel and a control arm in the front right, i also had back spasms for two months

dude came into that corner way to hot. Looks like he got into a little mental battle with that porsche.
Charlie is dead on about the awd. I have heard of so many wrx's getting munched in spins for numbers 1/2 on his list. Especially number 2.
it's a whole different beast to drive an AWD to any other car.
I'm wondering what he hit to flip over like that cause it looked like he was going backwards then he flipped sideways...crazy. Hope insurance helped him out.
