Verizon or Cingular?

Hey everyone, I know there have been threads about people working at either junction, but I figure I would ask again - never sure how many people are still working for either of those companies.

Any how, I'm interested in getting two phones by the beginning of next week - if anybody can hook me up with a plan at either Verizon or Cingular. I'll need to sign up for a new cell phone plan and I'll need two numbers, the old phones I have from Cingular/AT&T are going to be ditched, as my contract is coming to an end after the middle of next week.

If any one of you friend BAIClubbers can help out, that would be awesome.

just get verizon and be done with it, cant go wrong with them. they dont fawk around with billing trying to steal from u like sprint, and they dont have sh1tty coverage like cingular that cuts out every so often. ive had verizon for 3yrs and im still going and never had 1 single problem ever. theyve always helped me out very professionally and never hesitated to fix a situation. if ya gotta get locked in a contact, do it when them

I've had Verizon in the past years.....they were pretty good, I'd almost always get a signal where nobody else could get one, yet, There were times when I was in places like Downtown SJ, or Driving around town and I'd get dropped/lose the signal randomly.

Now I have Cinglular, they are not much better IMO, pretty much the same actually from my experience coverage wise......but I really like how Cingular has the Rollover minutes......So basically I will NEVER pay for any peak charges....ever. Since my work pays for my cell phone, and we have like 5 phones on the plan (and 4 of those 5 are old people so they only use like 150 minutes a month each.) So now our Cingular plan (thanks to rollover) now has in excess of 15,000 banked minutes and counting. So basically I can talk all day, every day, and never run out of minutes. w00t!

verizon. Cingular has some great features and cool phones but the rest...blah.

I used to work for pacbell/sbc/at&t/cingular whatever the crap it's called and had a cell with them from back when it was pacbell wireless. I finally got sick of them jerking me around and having crappy service. Went to verizon and it's dope. Bit more expensive. Sucky phones but the service and the customer service rips.
