Vehicles around 6-7k

Hey whats up everyone? Just wanted to get everyones opinion on what vehicle is the best for around 6-7 thousand for mainly street use. I am going to be selling my wrx within the next week or 2 and just want something reliable and nice that I can drive around for around 6-7k Car, or even suv, I was just going to play it safe and get a 96-98 gen honda civic but just thought I could get more input on some more choices.

thanks

I love that gauge cluster. It makes you feel like you're in a friggin' space ship.

uhwha... e36.. i'd tend to disagree... I owned one.. bimmers are nice but they are not good on reliablity or one's checkbook. Jetts have been pretty reliable and in turn a4s (which basically are jettas). The late 80s early 90s 4cyl 4runners are gutless and will go forever. Sadly a toyota carolla or honda civic will give the most milage for the least $$$.

In that price range I would either get a GSR or a 92-96 Prelude (my previous car before the rex). Very solid cars for the money and pretty quick.

are these all cars you've had in the past and wrecked trying to keep up with someone while driving backroads?

If you can find a nice Focus SVT, that would be nice. Some 240's are also available at that price, but the risk is higher I think with that car.
