Uhhh what? Shipping costs $899/ car between Oakland and HI. $40k is about half of what Motorex would sell that car for. Their cheapest R43 listed is around $70k.

If you have the money why dont you just get on the phone with an importer and order one? Getting cars here is no problem, you can do that all day long. The problem is that they arent legal.

Wow, thanks for the info - you sure told me! Besides, getting new info is so much cooler when it's delivered in a snotty way!

Anyway, sure - I can see that there are importers. Getting the car to a US port is not a problem if you have the money. Getting it out of the port customs would be just about impossible for a mere mortal like me, AFAIK. Even if you never intend to register it and/or drive it on the street.

Either way, the point I am trying to make is - it's not easy, as in, an everyday or every person sort of thing. Like so many other things - if you know how, you can do it.

I think Motorex is having some legal problems with registering the Skyline in the US..that's probably why prices on the Skyline have dropped recently.

Sorry, guess I took your rolleyes the wrong way. Anyway my point is there are plenty of people who can do it for you if youre serious about it, you just have to look into it.

And yes Motorex is no longer legalizing the cars as they are involved in some shady legal ****.

No worries. I am pseudo serious about it at this point. I would like to see what would be involved getting a R32 GTS-T to HI some time. I have no idea what that would cost, but it would be fun to check into it.

Thanks for the info.
