Uppipe VS Downpipe

Which one should I get first? Someone told me that an uppipe is useless unless i have headers. Also uppipes are really hard to install. I'm leaning towards a downpipe. Whats a good brand. Please help.

Who ever told you that an uppipe is useless unless you have headers is a complete moron. An uppipe will allow your turbo to spool a few hundred RPM earlier thus giving you a broader powerband.

If you're looking at DPs or UPs be sure to look at the Perrin, PDE, APS, Turbo XS, Vishnu, Helix, and Gruppe-S models. You should be able to make a good choice from those.

And WW, are you trying to re-organize i-club again? I for one don't mind answering tech type questions in this forum and have personally had better results asking questions here because the people are more helpful.

Car Info: I got a couple :)
Get both man!

When we install the uppipe it requires the removal of the downpipe. So I say get both coz they work in tandem to breath better. Save money on gaskets as well.

cheers
