Underground rap artists..?
Hey guys,
I'm trying to put a large mix together, and I need some more underground rap (the genre, even if it's not so underground anymore) artist names that I might have forgot to add to the list. Here's what I have so far:
- Mos Def
- Immortal Technique
- Jedi Mind Tricks
- Cunninlynguists
- Black Star
- Binary Star
- Talib Kwelli
- Aesop Rock
... can't really think of anymore.
Help me out guys.

mix in a little People Under The Stairs for the hell of it. And throw throw in at least one Dr. Octagon track just to scare the hell out of the other tracks

i'm into the old school underground but heres a few:
-The Hieroglyphics Crew which consists of Del the ***nee homosapian/deltron 3030, Souls of mischief, casual, domino, pep love, tajai,a plus, opio, and a few more i can't think of them
-A tribe called quest
-7L & Esoteric
-Zion I (not oldschool but still hella sick ****
)
-Planet Asia
-wu-tang clan (they fkn rule)
thats all I can think of now have fun!

- Murs (big ups to Def Jux, in fact, check out the entire Definitive Jux roster)

- Jean Grae (Indy...for now, she'll get her well deserved shine)
- Thirstin Howl III (Lo Life Founders!)
I coulda said Canibus...but he just came out with that gawd awful "Mind Control" album and took several steps backwards in his career and his style. Gah. He shoulda just ran with what he was already doing and elevate it to a larger scale without compromising much.

just a few I haven't seen listed yet.
Not underground but I like the blackstar crew. Mos Def, Talib, Hitek. Like all the records they put out. The lates Mos Def is one of my favorite hip hop records of recent years maybe ever. Not sure why..it's just different. Guy just has what it takes.
