UK Spec WRX + GC Chassis + 95octane

I'm over in the uk for a few weeks and my buddy just took me out for a rip in his 2500 dollar, 1999 wrx. GC chassis, bone stock. The damn thing feels faster than a stage 2 GD USDM wrx.

Maybe it's because the GC is 400lbs or so lighter, maybe it's because the gas over here is 95 from the pump (99RON)..but either way it impressed me.

UK spec wrx GCs also got the 4 pot calipers so it stops nice too.

I'm moving back to miserable UK in a few years so at least seeing what an EVO or STI can do with decent gas makes it all seem a bit better.

I didn't get tickets this year, unfortunately. I'm in for buying some games, though.
