I'm picking up a used one with about 800 miles on it. I'm looking forward to 80+ miles per gallon...

I like the third one down from the top, put 20" rims and I'm good to go anywhere local.

You could get something like a 750 Nighthawk or something for about that and get ~50mpg on something you could actually take on the freeway if you needed. 80mpg would be sweet tho...

Got it! Actually I got them... I picked one up for my girl but she's not working right now so I'm gonna sell it off and keep one for myself...

I'm the same, I've never had a scooter (just motorbikes) and wasn't much of a fan of them... but this one I like.

Me too, from the Honda Spree days.. Haaa.. But I just saw one of these downtown Hilo and was checking it out. It's pretty cool looking, like a Madd Max scooter or something. BTW - I have seen like 3 chopper mopeds now and it's cracking me up. Wow. Ape-hanger bars, flames and all.

I've been on some Ruckus sites and there are some pretty tricked out scooters out there... I've always know this as my friends back in the 80's were into Vespas but the these new ones are more my taste...

not so into the choppers though...

Dude. You have no idea. There's these little harley-like things with a 1 cylinder engine that seems like a teeny harley, but modded. You can buy them at AutoZoneCheckerShucksWhatever. I see these huge dudes on them too. You hear this odd buzzy noise and then see these two dudes cruise by on mini-choppers. Wow. But we were at the farmers market last weekend and this guy was cruising around on what looked like an old Honda trail 90 or something, but with bent out chopped forks and ape hanger bars... I nearly fell off my chair twice. "Live to ride brutha..."
