how does this album compare to arc/ray? i think late 90's were the best times for jrock, with glay and l'arc at their peaks (correct me if you think i'm wrong), and when hide's still around.

I personally think Glay's best years were in the early nineties to mid nineties, with singles like "Kuchibiru" (classic
), "However", and "Yuuwaku"... basically the first disc of their greatest hits compilation. I also agree that "Arc" and "Ray" were two of L'arc~En~Ciel's best albums. Other notable J-rock groups IMHO are B'z (I'm partial to "Seven", and I'm still pissed that I missed them live at the Fillmore last year), Porno Graffitti, and Dragon Ash (do they count as rock?). I really don't like the new groups so much... Orange Road, Rize, etc... they're boring and their sound is very rehashed.
Oh, and BoA (my future wife) 0wNz j00!!!!!!!!

B'z is the bomb, one of my favorate song is "Midnight Randevous" (really old song) it is about driving away in a car. in the beginning of the song you hear the tire screating noise hehe
