There was a post somewhere for it.

I am thinking I'd like to see an official pre-order thread with details made and extend the deadline until Monday/Tuesday if we can. So far only shirts are being made. I'm trying to see if we can get hoodies made too.

I talked to greg and he asked me to price out some stuff and I have been crazy swamped. I got a couple quotes but the timing was off. I'd be really bummed if we didn't get some hoodies.

I think there are like 50 or so pre-orders. I would be amazed if that didn't triple with a more obvious pre-order thread and if we added hoodies possibly more.

Haven't there been more like 200-250 shirts and hoodies sold in the past and people always ask for more after?

Hell I still need logos for the back of the shirt and I still have to dial in the design a little bit. Need to run the wing through the 22b and I'd like to refine the shapes a little and maybe add wheel spokes, door handles and maybe headlights and grills.

Use the same logos from last year? And add the new logos of the new vendors, might save ya time.

I think there should be a more formal thread with all the information relevant to order shirts....
People shouldn't have to ask multiple questions about a shirt they have such a short deadline to order....
Going in blind >.<

Prices, pictures, sizes, colors, etc, etc.....

There isn't enough detail there describing the shirts. No picture of the final design, no color scheme, no mention of the type of shirts as this would effect the size for ordering. A formal thread would be more ideal with some of these things accounted for in the thread and then a direct link to the buying option.

^very true. Should have thought out better. So sounds like not many shirt sales this year and it's not community fault. I do remember someone asking if they run small or large and they were just told they would get back to them. So ya odd they are closing sales before a thread was made. I just thought people didn't know where to order them. My bad..

Typically, more than 60 BAM tickets are pre-sold by this point in time too, but...

...oh, and to answer the question, http://www.bayareameet.com

One stop shopping - buy your BAM admission tickets, shirts, AND pay for a car show entry all at one time, in a single transaction!!

***official t-shirt pre-order thread***

GO TO www.bayareameet.com and PRE-ORDER YOUR SHIRTS!! THESE SHIRTS COME IN BLACK OR WHITE, IN SIZES SMALL, MEDIUM, LARGE, XL AND XXL.

ANYONE WHO DOES NOT ORDER BY TUESDAY WILL NOT GET THEIR PRE-ORDER IN, AND WILL HAVE TO HOPE WE HAVE ENOUGH EXTRAS IN ORDER TO SELL TO THEM. PRE-ORDERS WILL BE FILLED FIRST.

WE NEED TIME TO MAKE THE SHIRTS, AND THAT IS WHY WE HAVE TO SET A DEADLINE.

People are saying that this isn't doing the trick.

I think a huge master thread might be in order? I would say there has to be a reason people don't know what's going on... I mean that dude said he didn't even know that BAM was in alameda... haaaa.

No one looks at the stickies.

I think we need to bump and/or make a new master thread. And I think we need a new TShirt thread. I'd make it but I don't have all the current facts and I'm still working right now and I'll be out of town all weekend.

I think if there is a new thread that explains what's going on and offers sweatshirts I think you'll see numbers start to climb.

I will be very bummed if this BAM only gets 100 cars and sells 75 shirts. That just won't make any sense. I don't know what the deal is but something is going on and no one is paying attention. There is no reason we shouldn't have a 400 cars and sell 250 shirts/hoodies and have a few more sponsors.

I know I offered to help on this but I've been caught up. Is it too late to call some other vendors? I mean this is a baic event not necessarily i-club. Maybe tap some online vendors and/or nasioc vendors.

What's up with our locals not stepping up this year? No GST, LIC, ED, Detail Addict, etc. Hell maybe see if Jeremy will throw a clear bra install in the raffle and if Vince will do a tint for the raffle.

Just seems like some things need to ramp up and ramp up soon or this meet has a chance of falling on it's face and I don't want to see that happen.

If we do hoodies I'll pre-order one before Tuesday. I may pre-order another shirt too. I will try to get an updated version of this graphic up before end of day monday on white and black backgrounds.

Black shirt will have red and white ink. White shirt will be red and either black or dark gray.

2 colors. Not 3 to save cost for everyone.

Other than the d-bags who constantly derailed any attempt to have a decent thread describing these, it seems as though very few people bother to read the threads. We had a thread asking for designs, we had a thread that got f-d all to hell for official design submissions, we had a thread with the emailed design submissions, all from OneManArmy, we had a thread to vote on the final submissions...AND we had an obvious winner in that thread. I'm not sure how many more threads we need to have...

...so the d-bags can come in and throw them so far off topic that everyone else simply doesn't read them, then asks why they know nothing about what's going on...
