Turbo is too small...

I recently got a EJ25 shortblock swap, and now my VF-35 is too small. The P15 exhaust housing, which was great for the 2.0L is creating tons of back pressure with the 2.5L. The turbo has about 60k miles on it, anyone know the life expectancy of VF series turbos? This turbo has been pushing 1.3 or less bar its whole life.

I really want an 18g, but $$$ since I need to buy new injectors too. Anyone want to swap??

The p&p will do little to help the backpressure problem as the compressor and exhaust wheels dont change size. Thats where the restriction is.

quite a bit, but I had a few other things done, like timing belt, clutch etc since the motor was out.

haha, my bad, I must have skimmed over that.

Either way, 18g = too small for 2.5L
