i have a question on Borla Hush. Is the Borla Hush only the axle back or the catback, or does Borla make a full TBE? or do you have to mate it with other uppipe and downpipes? I think the answer is the latter but someone could clarify, thanks. Also, does Turbo back exhaust replace catback, midpipe, and downpipe. I have the diagram of the intake and exhaust by mattr762, and i jsut want to clear up when you buy a TBE, does it also replace the Midpipe? I don't hear much about people replacing their midpipes with anything special, just uppipes and downpipes. Last questoin, TBE doesnt include the uppipe right?

I currently have an up-pipe and down-pipe and I was looking for a tbe. Am I also mistaken in thinking that a tbe comes with the parts I have already? I thought that they would be sold seperately?? Sorry for the noob question but after reading some posts on this thread it made me a little confused..

tbe is the downpipe and catback, turbo "back" exhaust. You already have a downpipe, to have a full tbe you will need to buy a catback.

borla hush is a catback. i dont believe they make a full turboback, just catbacks and headers. There's a reason they name the exhaust pieces the way they do. Turbo "back" refers to the exhaust behind the turbo. Cat "back" refers to the exhaust directly behind the cat. The reason you don't normally see seperate midpipes is because most companies downpipes replace the dp cat and the midpipe cat as one whole piece. TBE does not include the uppipe because it is after the turbo and the uppipe is before it. pretty simple stuff people....

thanks for the info. when i first heard about all the parts of an exhaust, i was pretty confused. and the diagram helped me a whole lot, but still it was hard to remember all the parts and where they go and how they were sold, but yeah its pretty clear now, thanks.

If you want it to be at the stock sound level. Just go catless with the uppipe and downpipe and keep your stock catback exhaust. If really went a tbe go with the vishnu. good luck&have fun
