have you guys ever heard of the 911 challenge at University Chicken (formerly Cluck U's) ??

I have a video of one of my NorcalVW.com buddies taking the challenge, and man ... you can vicariously feel their pain.

Keep in mind also that the 1lb weight is before the patty is cooked. A lot of that weight is lost during the cooking process.

I had a friend who took the Cluck U challenge and then he had to drive home to San Luis Obispo afterwards. He threw up halfway to school.

the challenge is as follows.

-eat 1 dozen (12) wingers in 15 minutes.
-no napkins of any sort
-no drinks
-bones must be meatless
-after you have finished and an employee is satified that you ate all of the chicken, you have to sit there for 5 minutes w/o wiping anything of drinking anything.
-they're less strcit on the rules now though.

what you get....

a t-shirt and your picture on the wall. the picture is cool, but they clear the wall pretty often. since i passed they have cleard the wall twice that i know of. so the shirt is the real prize.

they also make you sign a liability waiver, just in case you get hurt.

man, i have pictures that you guys should see. that spicy-ness got my nose running, but i didn't want to wipe it since it'd be all over my hands, so i let it hang. i had a snot that was like 2 inches long hanging from my nose.
