Unless I'm missing something:

1-STI - 1'06"557 (Lap2)
2-M3 DCT - 1'05"698 (Lap4)
3-Mugen RR - 1'08"088 (Lap5)
4-Marusyu 135i - 1'08"592 (Lap2)
5-TK Square 135i - 1'06"323 (Lap3)
1'05"698 bests 1'06"557?

those are fastest individual lap times per car.

I don't know where exactly the finish line was, but it looked like the M3 won. Or the finish line was right at the end of the turn, then the sti came in 1st. Had there been 1 more lap, the Sti would've been passed.

OIC. Ah well, I still see it as the STi getting bested by the BMWs.

The STi driver also miss-shifted, so if that didn't happen, he probably would have kept his large gap in front of the other cars. Also note, the 135i's are all different set ups from different shops and not stock, including the M3. Still pretty amazing that the new STi performs so well.

The STI crossed the finish line first (it's right after the turn), but yeah if there was one more lap it's likely the BMW would have taken it.
