True Detective - HBO

Did anyone watch this season? Man that was one of the most epic trips I've ever watched. Can't wait for the next season, and meeting completely new characters.

I didnt expect this to be such a great hit but damn... was I wrong, I am so excited for the next season with new characters.

yep, was really good. Wish they remained in the story a little bit but hopefully the replacement characters will be just as good.

I had really high hopes, but after watching the pilot I was left a little confused... Maybe I need to give the show more than one episode.

yeah it's not a show where you expect the entire story told in one episode, it's a much more complex and well written story than that.

Honestly one of the best if not the best show I've ever seen. I like that the season was straight forward and didn't do any bull****ting in terms of dragging the story across multiple seasons.

Yeah the story can be a bit overwhelming at times, but you have to remind yourself that this show isn't about the story or the case, its about the two characters and how they develop and change over time.
