Not that you can see anyway.. Trust me on this..
EU carriers are just as safe.
Also anyone flying into Tel Aviv automaticly goes through an Interpole chek at the time of ticket purchase.

In the past, security issues when entering IL were simplified when travelling via El Al. Maybe with the new airport now, things are different.

Yup the new airport is nuts. It is so huge, it take an hour just to walk all the mazez back to get your bags..
Everyone goes the same place now no special treatment except for me...
I get to go around everyone at the security and customs check points.. LOL
Love those connections..

Austria!!! Last time I wen to yisrael we used Salzberg as our hop and farted around for 5 days around there. You can stop over by the Eagle's Nest. Vienna is really nice.
