IMO it's pretty foolish to try to track down a Mos Burger while in Japan. There are so many good places to eat. Why would you want a cheese burger? That's like going to China and craving Mexican.

mos burger is kind of a fast food chain. best hamburgers in my opinion, they are all over the place, mostly near big train stations...all the districs i listed in my other post have one within a mile of the station

try the mos cheese, the thousand island one and the teriyaki burger

I was more impressed by McDonald's. The burgers actually look like the pictures.

Mos is pretty tasty. They used to have one in Honolulu, but it's long gone now.

Posting this from my hotel in Ginza, just wrapping up a weekend here.
been coming here since '97, so long since done all the tourist stuff. This time i had a Subaru weekend, on Sat went out to Tachikawa, picked up a few items (lets see if i can get the R205 rear underspoiler back unharmed), then Sunday i finally made the trip out to l'aunsport in Noda city, got to see some really, really cool (& expensive) stuff, and was even given a ride back to the station by Mr Suzuki, the owner/founder, in one of his showcars (the WRB GH on the frontpage. Cool guy

If you make it to Shimbashi, the bar Kagaya is a must, the owner Mark is a riot...

Mos Burger is awesome! One of the best fast food burger's I've ever had. Their french fries are really good too.

As much as I love Japanese food, and can literally eat it all the time, there is just sometimes when you need a burger.

The maid cafes in Akiba aren't too bad. We checked them out last year when I was there. Prices range from a few hundred yen for a drink to more if you want to hang out with a specific maid and play video games or whatever.

They also are always out standing on the streets handing out coupons for discount at their cafes.

go to any little convenience store and buy milk, way better than what we drink (high levels of sweetcream).
