it has some decent streams. I really like the chillout/lounge streams. I'm a big fan of Armin Van Buren and DJ Doboy

Wow this is pretty sweet... Lots of classics in here! Binary Finary 1999 I think brings a lot of people together. When I hear it I always get flashbacks of jammin around in the UK because I picked up the "Ministry of Sound Ibiza Annual" for 1999 at a "welcome break" on the M40 and kept "disc 1" in the player for a long time. Even though I don't listen to it much, I will never get rid of it just because of the memories. My first crazy clubbing/party memories came from there and it was all about this music then. Yes even Alice Deejay "better off alone" later on thankyouverymuch.

If you were even clubbin' let alone going to parties and raves between 1995 and 2002 you have rocked out to this track - I think it's a total classic - IMHO it's got to be one of the most mixed/remixed tracks out there: Art of Trance - Madagascar (Push 2002 Remix). This particular mix is off of Platipus' "10 Squared" release which is pretty kickass, and is a commemorative being their 100th disc...

It's definitely hard to pick a fav and I will have to spend some time with the music to post some more up but I have to say for me personally, Faithless is one of the biggest ones that got me in (though not a "huge" trance name) as I was living in the UK when this came out: Faithless - God is a DJ

I still have my "i can't get no sleep" shirt from seeing them live... That was nuts and just saw them again at the Fillmore recently though they played pretty much all their new stuff...

Just for fun: Faithless - Insomnia

I will have to follow the links and such and then post up some more. Cool to see Ferry Corsten mentioned too, I like his mixes a lot (really like Global Trancemissions 2). People into this stuff should check out DJ John Beaver @ 1015 (if you can hang with 1015 haha). He's a friend and spins some crazy jams.

Anyone into psy/trance type stuff like older (pre Converting Vegetarians) Infected Mushroom, Yahel, Simon Posford, etc? To me, IsraTrance, GOA/psy, things of that nature are the hardest hitting mind-warpind trance music out there. I have tons, but it's in need of some organization.

But the oldest trance tracks I can think of? Probably the oldest first ones I remember getting into are: "Antiloop - Oh Susie", "Orbital - Halcyon and on and on" and "York - the reachers of Civilisation" but others will come as I listen which, because of this thread, I will be doing...

Also, its great to know there are still trance heads out there that are into it as much as I am. At one point I almost invested a lot of money in opening a trance club in SJ.

I'm glad to know that I'm in good company!

So, lets get a music trade going!! Who's got music, and who's willing to burn and share? Like an exchange.

If you guys want free web space where you can upload any files, go to www.posterous.com , you upload anything you want and people can download stuff directly to their computers with a really easy interface. That way we can save files to our computers instead of streaming stuff with youtube and whatnot.

But the best way woukd be to burn discs and exchange with each other. I'm down to have a friggin trance meet if you guys want.

I discovered this while playing Beatmania IIDX 5th Style 8 years ago. "Deadline" by Dutch Force is still one of my classics.

Then there's a remix of "Niji" that's done by Paul Van Dyk. Then there's the version of it by Denki Groove (the original) for the anime, Eureka 7.

Paul Van Dyk remixed (a.k.a. "Pot of Gold") version

The OG version for Eureka 7

Ehh... death metal and grindcore work pretty well for driving.

I've liked goa trance since high school in the early '90s. Good stuff.

P.S.: I <3 Juno Reactor. A lot.
