The side mirrors are probably just cameras that feed into a screen on the interior. There have been a few concept cars that have gone that route recently.

Kudos to Subaru on the looks - very beautiful but this kind of car doesn't appeal to me. If I want a sporty car, I need to have forced induction or a nice v8. A naturally aspirated four banger just doesn't cut it for me, no matter how light it is or how good it looks. Should appeal to Miata/S2000 fans.

Now, I'll eat my words and trade my car in if this comes with an STi engine/turbo/6MT but I won't be holding my breath.
