I was able to watch the whole thing driving home from Fairfield..unable to get any shots cause i didnt feel like pulling over..very nice shots you guys got..

Nicely done, sir.

I was toying with idea of trying to rent a Canon 600mm + 1.4x tele, but was nervous about cloud cover and didn't. Which reinforces that you'll never get a good shot unless you actually point the camera at your subject and press the shutter release

thanks man. i bet even if you tried to do that, they will all be out tonight because probably people reserved those lenses way in advance. also it would be make me very nervous renting a $10k lens.
