Torque wrench suggestions

Can anyone suggest a good torque wrench for rims?

Just want to properly torque the nuts on my rims accurately.

Nothing that will cost 300+ since all i would be doing is using it for my
Rims.

Also, can anyone tell me the proper amount to put on rims?

Thanks

Precision Instruments split beam style. US built/calibrated, good quality, and affordable.

FYI, I ended up purchasing the CDI Torque Wrench and definitely recommend it.

Something like this:
1/2'' Drive Micro-Clicker Torque Wrench: Make Every Turn RightSears

No need for a really high quality torque wrench if you are only doing wheels.

I've been using my Kobalt for about 2 years now and haven't had any issues.

If you are just using it to torque your lug nuts down, then just go to HF and grab one. I keep a 1/2" HF torque wrench in the car at all times since they are so cheap and they work good enough for on the road situations.

I have a harbor freight and a snap on. Harbor freight is fine for wheels. I check the harbor freight against the snap on and its dead on after a few years of service. Don't forget to zero out your torque wrenches before putting them away!

Can't beat HF if it's just going to be for wheels. Usually have sales where it dips below $20.

CDI, Dial Gauge.

Its a snap on brand with a different head.

Dial is better than click. Click is very technique dependent.
