i had too many encounters with deers....
- i hit a dirt embankment (sp?) once trying to avoid one.
- i got stuck in the parking lot because a deer was DEAD infront of my car, no damage.
- last encounter was the worst. I actually hit the sucker and was stucked 400 miles from home. luckily the **** didn't come through the windshield.

And if you impact anything bigger than a deer- Elk, Moose, Cow, Horse, etc, and you are going over 50 or so, you most likely will be killed.
So depending how big the cliff is, going off it might not be the worst way out.

I hit a deer on my way up to Ice House/ Kyburz area with my father when i first got my license. The deer stood right in my lane during tahoe traffic and i made no attempt to stop. or else i would have feel into the drink or hit another car. Instead i put that deer into the american river and suffered a little bit of hair and blood on my bumper.
If it would have stayed on the road i would have put a tag on and kept it for eating because we were going hunting in the first place. And it would have been a waste of good meat otherwise.... maybe a biit bruised in places but good for sausage

yea the same thing happened to me when i first got my car. I was following justin (bluwrxwgn) on hamilton and when we came around a turn a wild boar came onto the road. Justin didnt see the boar and just barely missed hitting it. I slammed on my brakes and came to a stop just barly tapping it. The little ****er then ran off the road.
