Hey I-Club!

I am currently in Japan for work and was able to make it out to the Tokyo Auto Salon this past weekend. Amazing stuff to see there including the FR-86 and the BRZ!

Both are awesome in person, and honestly can't wait to drive one. I was surprised at how well I fit in them too. Being 6'2" and 235lbs I was afraid it would be too small.

Ummm. Idk how I feel about that lip spoiler, or the crooked "BRZ" emblem.

 

Yeah I'm not a fan of that rear lip spoiler either. The front one looks alright.

 

Wont be able to afford one but I like it!

But the BRZ isn't ugly by any sense of the word. That's a beautiful machine.

 

This isn't a final production version of the BRZ STi, the car is still changing as you can tell by the thrown together look. It's getting closer though and is very exciting.

Yup! It's still the parts concept. I have pictures of the Prova Black one in my gallery. Wasn't too keen on that version, it looked ok in person.

 

Man I was pissed that I got there too late. My gps failed me and didn't take me to the right expressways. Long story short I got there with an hour left I could see stuff, but it would take 30min to find parking since there were even lines to get into the local parking garages still. I guess I'll go next year

btw where are you staying op? I'm out in Fussa-shi (near tachikawa) in west tokyo. If you have time hit up roppongi or shibuya on the weekend, but do not go to the nigerian bars/clubs!

 

We are staying in the Ginza. Have a pregnant wife so clubs and bars are pretty much off the list for this trip.

Nigerian bars/clubs just sound terrible. Do they ask you to deposit their kings fortune with every drink?

 

Let's just say that you don't want to use your cards in their bars/clubs unless you like them to scam you and steal everything on it. On top of that they get pretty hostile if you go over your 1hr of unlimited drinking.
