well i guess yesterday was a good day then
lol that is deff the plan
Will not happen 
you have the real thing in person
hahha.. Well everything basically went right to plan. We got there at 7 and thats when we had our reservations. My best friend, kevin, works there and helped out with the planning and set up even though he didnt work on Sunday. So we got there and the hostess was like "ur table will be ready in a sec" so we took a seat. From the time we sat down two other couples had walked in and got seated before us. My gf was like WTF! "We have reservations and they get seated before us!" I was like just chill its fine lol.
So they come back and walk us to the back section that is closed. It was JUST US, away from everyone else, they set up table cloths, candles and dim lighting. My gf was like wow this is nice that we are away from everyone.. I kinda just laughed and then my friend walks in and talked with us for a bit. We let her know that he pulled some strings so we could be alone and she just thought it was for our 2.5yr nothin too special.
So we order our food and eat up (RussB i got those ribs.....freakin bomb!) So my friend comes in and takes all our plates. A few mins later he comes back with a covered dessert tray. He sets it on our table and removes the cover. There are two HUGE pieces of cake with ice cream on both sides. So we are both sitting on the same side of the booth, and the way the tray is set i can see the ring box behind the cake but she cant.
So she leaned over and took a few bites of ice cream and i start saying all that good stuff "i love you, you make me so happy yada yada yada"... So i reach behind the cake and pull out the box, while im doing that i grab her hand and i start gettign out of the booth.. So i get down on one knee and pop the question... SHE WAS SHOCKED, she has NO IDEA thats what everything was about
She teared up a bit and was super happy. My friend came in and congradulated us, and took a couple pics. The waitress came and dropped off the check while the three of us were talking and my gf was like "omg how did u get all this planned i had no idea". So i put my card in to pay and the waitress comes back and said "oh dont worry about it, the manager just comped ur meal" 
So we got free food and dessert and our own area to eat.
So basically everything went to plan and im super happy that i got to suprise her and that she was really happy and excited. I still have friends txting me saying congrats hahaha.

Congrats, bruddah. Now you & the fiancee just need to hope the wedding & reception can go just as smoothly. Hmmmm... I wonder if there's a way to get that bash comped.

Well the plan has been to get married in Hawaii... Shes never been and I havnt been in 8 years. We figure if we do the whole big wedding here we wouldnt be able to afford a nice honeymoon in Hawaii.
She did a family tree of all the cousins, aunts, uncles that shes close to......and it came out to 97ppl... and thats not counting my family or either mine or her friends.
My parents prolly wont help out money wise too much and her mom will help as much as she can. And its not like we make a lot of money being college students and all
So as of now we are thinking any friends/family that want to come are more than welcome to come, BUT they have to pay their own way... We know its going to be tough and dont expect a lot of ppl to be able to do it but thats what we're thinking. Then depending on the money situation when we get back still hold a reception for everyone that couldnt make it over

at first i thought you guys were going to sit with the rest of the crowd and the other customers will witness the proposal. i figured the whole restaurant clapping and everything lol i dunno i have a weird imagination.

awww thats so awesome! congradulations! dang everyone is engaged right now!! im jealous! lol i wanna get married! but i guess i need to get a bf first haha oh well. just kidding its good to be single!
