This is a scientific article stating the the air fed devices won't work.

The hornet is in the correct frequency range and may be loud enough?

dude..... a high pitched sound coming from the front of my car...120plus db?

Hell, screw that man. That would drive me nuts. I'd have to have my system bumping constantly or buy an illegal exhaust system to cover that up...boooo.

Seems like a great idea...I have come very close a few times and some of my frequently driven roads.... White and old SC highway are covered in deer.

but I don't think I could handle a constant high pitched sound like that.

Supossedly

Q, WILL I HEAR THE SONIC WAVE IN MY VEHICLE?
A. You will not hear the Hornet while you are driving or riding. However, you may hear The Hornet when your vehicle is stopped or you enter an enclosed parking structure such as a parking garage. The wave is very directional and will reflect back from any solid object.

Q. CAN I TURN THE HORNET ON AND OFF?
A. YES. The Hornet comes with a toggle switch and switch plate to be mounted either underneath your dashboard or in the dash itself. We recommend using the switch so that you may turn The Hornet on when needed and off if you are in a residential area, parking garage, etc.

I've often thought about the big aluminum bumper like they have on SUVs.

Can add spikes so I have dinner or an annoying civic

It sucs watching deer run out of nowhere and take out your car. Either the deer will run away from the car or they will run towards it depending on where the deer decides it wants to go.
