No. Never. At $150-$175 per hour, it doesn't make sense to me.

Yes. Usually give an extra $20 -$50 depending on the amount of work.

Yes. Tip your tattoo artist. They don't make what they charge, unless they own the shop. Plus, they'll remember you if you need a touch-up later on. A good artist is worth a good tip.

You ALWAYS tip your artist. That's just how it works if you want to keep them happy.

How much depends on how much work you got and how much they charged you. 20% works or just toss them an extra $50-60.

So by that logic, I am guessing everyone here also tips their CPA/tax preparers, lawyers, dentists, doctors, hotel room maids, baristas, etc?

**** giving them just a tip. Slide them the whole shaft.

Tipping culture in the US is pretty retarded. That said, I follow it as well because I don't want to labeled a cheapskate. Around home, I tip bartenders, delivery guys and so on. In Vegas, I tip everyone lol.

+1 though. Mercia, where the burden of paying employees properly falls squarely on customer.
