Tint Options and Questions
I'm looking to get my windows tinted, but I'm getting lost with all the options.
Brand wise, seems like Llumar and 3M are the most popular.
I've heard terms such as: smoked, charcoal, platinum, metal, mirror, etc. Obviously, some of the names are self-explanatory.... I've tried looking at pictures, but most people just state the %.
Does anyone have a nice breakdown of the different tints?
Bottomline, I want a tint that isn't mirror-like and doesn't hurt radio performance.
Also, since Omega Tintwerks is popular, what type of tints can they do?
Feel free to throw out an suggestions, comments, or advice.

make sure the film they use is metallic... don't know too much about it other than it haveing metal particles in it to help radio frequencies and perhaps your bluetooth. at least thats what my friend with a bmw told me . someone please correct me if im wrong.

I went to Omega to get my tint and i got a metallic tint and it does interfere with the radio reception. I can never hear 106.9 anymore

tint % = the percentage of light that is able to make it through the tint
ie. 5% means 5 percent of light can get through the film... etc etc
llumar is the best .. iv'e seen and heard and used .. 3m fades after 2 summers..
etc etc
