Bump for update with quotes - see first post.

I'm still waiting on a quote from Platinum Autoworks in San Jose, but there is so much information and research to be done that I think you guys should start now.

Isn't that around the normal price for ceramic tint? There's a place in Livermore that charges $400 for 7 windows tinted with Pinnacle F1 ceramic tint.

According to these quotes, TGC in Soquel will do the same FormulaOne ceramic film for $310 for 7 windows, and we would get a full month to schedule the appointments instead of two weeks. Plus I really like that their warranty is transferable when I sell my car, and they've been around for 35 years so they will still be around to support that warranty. They get my vote.

You can update my info with hatch and 35% on all 7.

Also, think whatever shop is chosen would do my tail light covers? Thought about doing it myself but I'm terrible at making that sort of thing look perfect.

Film is film, they can probably take care of it for $20-40 or so.

Cool. I have some minor changes to my original request but nothing that should hinder location choice..

I don't possess the knowledge to decide, and I don't feel like acquiring it, so I'll go with whoever you guys decide.

PS: Finally home, love when the CTO pulls you in for a quick strategy meeting right when you were about to jet for the car.

Most of the people who have responded so far want to go to Vincent at Omega in Pleasanton. Time frame will have to be within a 2-week window per Vincent's requirements, but the start date has not been decided yet.

I just sent out PMs to all of the people who expressed interest today, so I'd say we can start locking down the group buy by the middle/end of next week and starting appointments as early as that weekend assuming Vincent will be available.
