So I just got pulled over on 19th Ave in San Francisco after I got off work in the Richmond district. I saw a motorcycle cop over a block away and I see him slow down to approximately 20mph just to wait until I pass him up. I was going to slow down and try to cut another two lanes to make a right off 19th Ave but I think that might be more suspicious so I keep going. I hit a red and I am right next to the cop. He tells me to pull over when the light turns green. The officer asks for the usual license, registration, and insurance so I give it to him. He then asks me to pop my hood. Once I heard those words I knew I was gonna get fawked. He asked if my intake was carb legal I said yes but I lost the sticker. He then looks more into my engine bay with his flash light and I am sure he saw my shinny headers. He tells me to wait in my car and he goes back to his bike. At this time my heart is racing like a jack mouse. He comes back and says, "put that plate back on your front bumper" and gives me back my license and registration. WOOHOO!!! :banana:

Yeah looked like you dodged a bullet, bike cops have really been out in force here on 19th the last couple months, keep an eye out.

 

Shoulda offered to fellate him for being so kind.

I didn't know SF cops popped hoods, maybe its just those old, jaded bastards on motorcycles.

This generally only works if your car is 100% stock and legal (no tint, front plate on). Otherwise, prepared to get bent over.

 

haha he clearly saw my meth injection pump, my headers because he was shining his flash light at it for a few seconds, and i know he saw that i didnt have a heat shield...either he didn't know what he was looking at or he gave me a big break
