Time for suspension change?

I've got the vesion 5 WRX suspension on my '99 Impreza 2.5RS.
It's been (*thinking*) about 70K miles since the install. The stock shocks are making noise all around, so they need replacing.
What about the springs? How often should you change the springs? Is it time for a suspension change?
***********UPDATE************
Anyone have any reviews of the KYB Adjustable AGX Gas Shocks?
I'm thinking about buying them from (http://www.p-s-t.com/kyb.html#agx) for $389 shipped/taxed.
What do you guys think?

Yes Sev,
It is time for a suspension change. 70k on stock suspension is pretty long. I bet things are felling pretty soft. Might want to look at the STi setups, as they are great replacement setups with great handling and are a little bit lower.

Woa.. how've you been?
It's been a while.
School is raping my wallet and my bank account, so I may have to look for stock '99 springs/shocks and just use them.

Sev,
You have Ver5 WRX (like JDM) setup right now? I'm thinking that's fairly close to an RS suspension from '99. I have my stock setup ('99) if you want is, however, it's got more miles on it than yours!
I'm not sure how much of a budget suspension you want, but keeping those springs and finding some used KYB adj struts would be a nice, cheap deal for you.

Gagan,
Don't the springs need to be replaced after a certain amount of miles? How much would KYB adj struts be? I have to factor in installation costs that my mechanic quoted me...they're not pretty, so I don't know how I'm going to afford it.

New they are about $400.
Used anywhere from 260-340 i would say.
Installation: Installfest man... we got tools, and time if you do. We can work something out. Suspension isn't super hard to do.

Time is a bit of concern for the coming semester, since I'm enrolled in heavy units, and am approaching a medical competency exam for two of my nutrition classes (ugh!). This weekend would probably be the best time, since I'll be out of winter classes and I start classes again (A. Physiology, here I come!) on the 20th.
I've got my competency exam on the 28th, and on the 29th, Organic Chemistry II, Science of hunger, and a slew of other classes begin, shifting my life into the "nightmare" status.
If you guys are up to it, I am too. I just need to find the parts.
Here are the parts I am looking for. If ANYONE can find these parts in good condition, a sympathetic plea from a student urges them to come forward:
1.) '99 Stock air intake system. (Filter or without, doesn't matter)
I need this pretty urgently.
2.) Stock suspension (springs + shocks). Must have low-miles. I need this pretty urgently as well.
3.) LONGSHOT: A '99 Radiator lying around. A rock hit my air condensor (on my radiator?), so my A/C doesn't work. Normally, I don't care about A/C, but when my windows start fogging up, it becomes somewhat of a safety concern.
Anyone who has these parts, or knows someone that does (and is willing to give 'em up) please email me as soon as possible:

Also, the location is not a problem. You guys can work at my house in South San Francisco with no issue whatsoever.
My mom said she will make lunch and/or dinner for the installfest. She'll cook whatever unless there's any special requests?

yeah, i'd be down to help as well but alas i'm down in socal. wierd.
anywho, www.p-s-t.com sells the AGX for $389 and you will be very happy with their performance.
i see no need to replace the springs. they should not wear out.

Yeah, springs don't wear out, at least not within 70k miles. Not even like 150k really. Struts do though, and p-s-t has a great price on those struts.
I'd also call www.gruppe-s.com to see how much the local price is for AGXs. (Local price= cash only... not tax, pick up only)

Don't forget, stock RS struts are the same as the WRX in other markets. Not as stiff as the STi reds, but a cheap alternative for the short term. $150 buys all 4 with springs and tophats from www.subarusuzukikiaparts.com
