Time for new tires...

Also, these tires have so little traction that at auto-x these tires break traction before the sidewalls fold over. And this is a 50 series so there is no steel insert in these sidewalls so they should be soft and fold over easier. RE92s held up better than these because they break traction easier and more progressively than ES100s.
As for cuppage, 3 sets of tires isn't much of a sample of the tires considering I work at America's Tire Co.
As for price, and quality, since you think these tire are so sticky, he doesn't need sticky tires. Like I said earlier why not go with a Falken ZIEX ZE-512 that costs $20 less per tire than the ES100s, it has a 30k mile warranty, and IMHO a better quality tire.

OK. Now RE-92's are better. Got it... Wow... It's all so clear now.
I have no idea what he specifically needs. I was just replying to all the retarded "JOO are a stupid if you listen to someone who says ES100's don't suck" crap. But if someone actually didn't mind RE-92's and got a lot of life out of them, that tells me that they do not have serious needs for an all out high performance tire (ie SO-3). And the craziest part about it all is... I don't even work at a tire store!!
Falken ZIEX sounds great. Whatever. I might get some myself as I need something round and black to replace my worn ES100's. I have never, ever, even once used a tire warranty in over 20 cars.
I think the upshot of the matter is: some people think AVS-ES100's are an OK tire for the money, and some people think they suck. I can live with that.

They make the size you need for your stock rims too. I would chack them out at least, if I were you. THEY ARE PRETTY CHEAP TOO!!!!
I used to run Pirelli's, and Yokahama's...I would say you can do what those tires can do on the streets with these Falken 451's.

on some (2) of the reviews...the guys complain about getting no traction going up hill....which is completely not true, unless you dont know how to drive...plus we with AWD dont have that kind of issue.
Overall most reviews and great.

No need to get your panties in a bunch. You asked, I replied. If you don't like my opinion, ok so what must you prove yourself right? He wanted input, I think with more tire experience than the average person, I thought he might want my input. If you don't like it, keep it to yourself.
You might want to refer to https://www.i-club.com/forums/random-thoughts-off-topic-17/forum-insult-phrases-90402/ for some help.
As for this thread tire wise, it's basically dead.

Panties? Read your own posts.
It was dead a long time ago (even before you said my experience means nothing because you work at a tire shop). And I didn't ask you anything.
Hope your day gets better.

Hopefully someone will lock this thread.

what do you want outta the tire? answer these q's:
1. do you care at all about wet grip?
2. do you want a comfy ride, or a stiff snappy response?
3. do you care about noise?
4. do you care about treadwear?
5. do you care about weight?
6. do you foresee driving in snow with these tires?
there are alot of excellent tires out there. each has its own application for the end user. let us know what you are in to, and we could go from there. having too many suggestions jumbles up your priorities with each new tire you hear about. theres a good affordable tire for everyone.
