LoL...4 cars..probably the worst show up we have ever had for a meet...ut after the "meet" was over me and Evan headed out to mitsubishi and I drove the EVO...it picked up pretty nice, and handled great around a curve, but I was not TOO impressed...it was a nice car, but nothing spectacular...

would you pick the EVO8 over your wrx Zoeb?

only 4 cars... jeez... i need to show up again, make it at least 5

maybe we should actually make runs down backroads instead of just parked in the Harley lot...

haha, It would be a tough decision....if I had the parts taht are sitting in my back seat in, it would be be a definate NO, but as of now...I would probably take the EVO over my WRX...but I still think its WAY overratted

for the money, no way...its a nice car no doubt, but at $5K less for MSRP, I would take the WRX, in a heartbeat

More importantly, it's only like $2k more for an STi! Mmmm.... 300/300, 3 limited slips, brembos, and HIDs...

I know! After I got the STi brochure in the mail, I looked at the standard features and did the math using the projected MSRP. For all of that stuff - the Brembos, DCCD, front LSD, variable valve timing, revised engine management for the 2.5, the good suspension, the good tranny - it was a great deal compared with trying to add that stuff to a WRX. I personally don't think that Subaru is making a huge profit on the STi. I think it's a long-term sales strategy to get us hooked on buying Subarus from here on out.
