TIC's Super Shift Set

Hey everyone,
I recently purchased a few upgrades for my '10 WRX and I am debating wether to get TICs holy shift set or the super shift set (which seems like it's the HS set + Kartboy short shift lever). Now, I already have the factory short shifter that came with the car and was wondering if the kartboy one is worth it??
SS set:

HS set:

FYI, here's what I just got:
-Epic engineering springs
-Group N tranmission mount.

Thanks all.

when it comes down to SS its all about feel. try driving one before buying.
as for the TIc kit,so worth it. took all the slop out of mine shift. the 1-2 and 2-3 shift are soo accurate now.

For the sti the TIC super shifter kit has always been known to be at it's very best when combined with the STI factory short shifter kit.
I can't speak for the wrx, but I just had this kit installed my 06 sti. I had it 3.5~ years ago on my 05 sti which I put 45k on. MANNNNNNNNNNN i wish I could have gotten the kit sooner on my 06, can't believe i bothered shifting the tranny without the tic kit, a true crime.

The factory short shift is nice and can be made nicer with the addition of some nicer bushings. You can go farther and swap for stiffer bushing along the driveline, tranny mount, and pitch stop to.

Thanks for the replies. yeah i am trying to get rid of that annoying slop and the not so stellar shift feel (specially 1st to 2nd gear is pretty vague)

snowflow, I just got the Group N transmission mount (still needs to be installed, waiting to do it all at once), and the shift set from TIC is a shifter bushings set. So that's basically what you were mentioning.

So, it sounds like i don't need to change my current short shifter.

Buy every bushing that they sell for your car. Shifter bushings, rear diff and outrigger bushings, trailing and lateral link bushings (later on, they are pricey), steering rack bushings, tranny corssmember bushings...did I forget any? Group-N tranny and engine mounts are a great mod as well.

Bushings are, in my opinion, the best bang for the buck mod for these cars. Seats are a close second because of cost. I had the shifter bushings for the 5 and 6 speed and honestly, they rock for both. I did not drive the 5 speed real hard or shift fast, but it was smooth. The 6 speed is just soooo smooth with the bushings and short shifter.
