How many miles?

Valve's lashed? Properly adjusted?

What size injectors? Sounds like the injectors firing off just really loudly.

Did a shop put the engine together? Has it always sounded loud since it was installed?

Damn that's pretty loud, and I've got a loud noisy motor with many ticks and etc that aren't my forged pistons

I've been told injectors or the timing is off

My car sounds similar, stock motor 240k miles. Does it get louder as you rev?

Mike at GST told me I had noisy injectors, and it was pretty normal.

Question Me too!

I get this alost whacking noise (sounds faintly like a belt hitting the timing cover o.0) on a cold start but it goes away pretty soon after maybe 10 or so seconds of doing it... any one else experience this?

I throw Lucas fuel treatment in at every oil change.

What oil are you running? Should be Rotella 5w40.

Your car isn't quite old enough for it to need valve adjustment.
