So I went to Thunderhill raceway in Willows Ca today. Saw some cool cars. It was time trials but seemed like everyone there was just there to drive. N.A.S.A and USTCC was there. So lots of porsches, miatas, evos, some wrx's, lots of vw's here are some pics

yea i need a better lenses. Iv been trying to sell mine. I was using a Nikon D50 and i was switching between a Tamron 28-200 xr if 3.8-5.6 good majority of the pics were with that. And Sigma wideangel zoom 18-35mm 3.5-4.5, Sigma 100-30 4.5-6.7

Did anyone gets pics of the mustang crash?
I posted it in a another thread. It was my good friend Chris. He said that he crashed into the only wall on the entire track. I went to his house today and saw the carnage. His helmet made a nice indentation in the roof as it collapsed around him. I tried to get some pics but I had no batteries for the camera.

That was a nasty crash. I'm glad both he and his passenger walked away. It also makes me glad that I spent money on a cage.
BTW, how did the crash happen? Granted I was there, but I didn't see it.

The story I got was that he came around the turn a little wide. He said that he felt the gators (rumble strips) and the back started to get loose. He then hit dirt and got really sideways. Ha had RA1 tires, so he said as soon as he slowed down enough he got some traction he was pointed directly at the wall on the other side of the track and drove straight into it. He hit the tires and bounced into the air.

I didnt see any crashes I spent most of my time by tower 14/15 turn good place for pics. I had never been there before and place just seemed so massive. Ill be going on the 23/24 to see Miatas and the Drifting comp they got.
