Cool Thunderhill... May 21st. Who's going?

Is anyone going or already signed up for this? I found an event for the 21st of May (friday). I figured it's about a month and couple weeks away so you guys have plenty of time to think about this event. This event is hosted by http://www.trackmasters-racing.com/ and it's the same HPDE events that others are hosting.

Membership is free but will change sometime in June. If you sign up after June, a membership fee will be required then. Check out the link I provided as I already signed up for this event and maybe I'll join a caravan with you guys going up there.

From trackmasters website
Event Specifics:

3 Run Groups (A=Advanced, B=Intermediate, C=Novice)
Unique passing rules for each run group
Up to 2.5 hours of 'seat time' throughout the day!
Approximately 20 cars 'on track' per session!
Coffee, pastries, lunch, and drinks are provided
TrackMasters Racing T-Shirts will be distributed at the event (new members only)
All for $210! (215 for paypal)

Disclaimer:
I by no means promoting or affiliated with trackmasters regarding this event but would like to share interest with other enthusiasts. Pls. read all rules before signing up on an HPDE event.

Kind of an odd thing to say in your first ever post...

We've run with this guy out there before. He has a lot more posts on nasioc and is a very cool EVO owner. He even brought his wife and kid last time to cheer him on! Black EVO, IIRC.

Lowbal and I were thinking of running this event since we can't wait until 6/25 for the unlimitedlaps one. You want to go too Kevin?

Yep - it's me. I've been trying to get my SN over here changed since the WRX is no more. I applied for membership with TrackMasters but haven't heard back yet. The guy that runs it lives 1.3 miles from my house. Maybe I'll pay him a visit.

Yeah, I realized that a few minutes ago when I saw the crosspost on nasioc. My apologies Mr. DB8GSR.

I'd like to go, but I would have to sell my wheels first...

how does trackmasters fare in putting together a track day? i've only run with unlimited laps but can't make their june date now since i'm going on vacation then.

i really want to get a track day in soon so this one looks promising. can anyone provide some feedback on past trackmasters events?

cheers

The only downside I see to that event is that they are running the Turn 5 bypass. Where's the fun in that?

No worries BAN SUVS! Hope you sell the rims on time!

Hey.. I'm starting to see old names. Sup Bemani!

Egan.. I was wondering about my membership as well since I never got any replies back. I already paid so I'll just assume that I'm in. LoL!
