No kidding! My car is filthy and I haven't had a chance to wash it. I spent last night tightening my power-steering lines and replacing the fluid. I went out to the garage a few hours after getting home on Sunday and saw a huge puddle of oil on the ground. This freaked me out for a second, then I realized it was ATF. Everything seems fine now.

For everyone who'd been considering going to a Rally-X, DO IT. So much fun, and no pressure on people who are relatively clueless (myself, for example...)

The power steering LINES- the fluid runs through tubes under pressure between the steering rack and the pump, and the little fittings where the tubes connect to the rack sometimes work themselves loose and fluid leaks out.
In my case it completely emptied before I found out.
Something to have them check on when oyu bring it in for the occasional service.

Yikes! Never heard of that happening before. Is that an issue specific to WRX's?

When I did a search on it, I discovered that it's pretty common, but I had no idea beforehand.

Not a big deal to fix, but it definitely gives you that feeling when you see the huge puddle of vital fluids flowing out from under the car.
