650 for a turboback is rather cheap especially if it's new.

Also, i hope u do realize that they aren't the ones charging tax, it's the government. As a resident, you must abide by those rules. So if you are saying with cash, they dont have to pay tax; suppose the government really checked up on them, they have invoices from the manufactory saying they purchased X amount of this catback, and they only sold Y amount. Did they eat the missing catbacks? If you dont like to pay those prices, just wait for something used and u can get it for cheaper. Not trying to be an ***, but that's the way i look at it, just my 2cents.

That's understandable if they can get X amout sold within a short amount of time, of course they are willing to drop the price. It's like comparing prices of items purchased at safeway vs. costco. Costco buys all their stuff in bulk. In fact, half the time, they sell some of their stuff in bulk. I.E. packs, boxes instead of individually

ok law,

650 is rather cheap for a new turboback, but when they agree, i dunno what the problem is... and by taking cash they dont have to record anything down in the books so its cheaper for them also...and they dont have to ship it..

and if the government ever audited for something like an exhaust on a car, they could just say its on an employee's car as a perc and nothing would happen... little items like that aren't a red warning sign to an auditor, dunno where your going with that especially when only less than 10% of transactions are done by cash

Do I smell group buy? Even without the discount with quantity/cotco theory, lower prices can often be had just through aksing/d!ckering. I'm not saying offer $50 for a $1k part, but I RARELY accept the original advertised price when purchasing specialty items over the web.

Steve,

As i stated before, even if they take cash, they have paperwork they sign when they get in their shipment right? RnD orders say 200 catbacks at once. It gets shipped to them, 200 catbacks, they sign it saying they received 200 catbacks correct? So if RnD starts selling them for "Cash" with no paperwork, then there's no paperwork to show that they sold it. So when the year ends, and they do their taxes and such, how are they going to cover up the amount of money the made from "not" selling catbacks since they dont write up the paperwork for it i.e. receipts to customers? I dont know about them, but my parents own a shop, and all of our invoices have 3 copies, 1 for us, 1 for the customer and 1 for the accountant. They can't just say they aren't making profit each year with the habit of saying they aren't selling the products, cuz in fact, they are and it's easily determined IF, keyword IF the government decides to go after them.

At the same time, i also believe if they give out a price due to their **** up, they should honor it. Why not print out the PM message and bring it to the boss?

i'm not trying to pick a fight, i just want to state my opinions. Goodluck.

If i was a big baller, i wouldn't be buying 2nd hand/used items all the time. Its the fact that i KNOW i'm not rich, therefore i'm around the classifieds. It's a fact, i'm not rich. IF i was rich, i'd be sporting COMP SSR wheels in gold.

i totally understand where your comming from, but when that happens law, they just lower the price to say 610 and charge tax making it 650, if they are worried about paperwork...

these types of things happen all the time, when ppl buy/sell used cars... they 50% of the time i would sayy would put the selling price LOWER than what was agreed on to duck fee's and dues... its the way it works

And so it begins... Finding a good deal has nothing to do with how rich you are. No one ever got rich by spending all their money. Where's Zoeb to instigate a fight when you need him?
