Ahh.. Makes sense. I thought it was them not allowing the WTF on the plate since it gave a different error for those than others that were already taken. I finally settled on "GRR AARG" for my RS.

If the personalized plates are for a car already registered with standard plates you have to go in to DMV and turn in your old ones in order to get your new personalized ones.

oh yea.. i should've mentioned that. haha.

i just got a postcard in today. its a 2nd notice from the dmv telling me to pick up the plates.

i wonder how long till they realize that its not there anymore.

to get personalized plates is it a one time payment? or do you have to pay to renew them every year?

When you order personal plates they take 8-12 weeks to arrive. Although, the prisoners who make them were on lockdown recently, which has pushed back the plate time a little bit.

Wanted to keep it short and simple.
